Recycling in the Villas
Greetings!
I hope you all had a great week! Here's what INPIRG was up to this weekend:
Sustainable U Recycling Program:
The Villas recycling program is designed to make recycling easier and more accessible to Varsity Property tenants. We invited everyone in the area to bring their recyclables to the Villas on November 5th. We collected cans, glass, plastic, and cardboard. We understand that the reason most students don't recycle is because we have no time, so we would like to make it easy and fast for students living without a recycling pick up to recycle and help form a more sustainable future!
Pledge Week!
As I'm sure you all know, last week was our pledge week! I'd like to thank all who pledged very much--and if you haven't pledged yet, please do so! We are still a bit short of our goal, and without those pledges we won't be able to stay on campus and continue the important work we do!
