In only three weeks we have:

• raised over $500 for Hoosier Hills Food Bank,
• collected more than 200 photo petitions from students asking Senator Bayh to be our global warming superhero,
• educated hundreds of students on solutions to textbook rip-offs,
• and gotten a ton of students involved on campus to make an even bigger impact!

And we've only just begun...

This week, have your voice heard and tell Senator Bayh that you want him to vote YES and help pass the historic ACES bill this fall. How do I do that, you ask? Call him! INPIRG will be outside the Arboretum at 10th and Fee all day this Thursday, 9/24, asking students to make a quick call to the Senator, telling him that we want ACES passed. It really is as easy as it sounds and will make a huge difference - protecting our environment, improving our economy, and building a sustainable future.

Also, INPIRG's Student Consumer Action Center is beginning work on our next project - providing the students of IU with a guide to finding housing for next year! For those moving off-campus for the first time, this will help you avoid common pitfalls that students run into and help you to avoid getting ripped off! And for those experienced house hunters, it will make this years search less stressful and more informed! We need your help to make it great - if you have any horror stories about landlords, apartment/house condition, or anything else, send it to lindsay@inpirg.org. Also, if you've had a fantastic moving experience, let us know with what company or landlord and where!
